Brian Scavullo
Biography

          In Italiano

Brian Scavullo was born on July 5th, 1987 in Albany, NY to his parents Peter and Jeannine. He has two sisters: older sister Alaina, and younger sister Deanna. He was raised in a household that always revolved around family and was strongly influenced by their Italian-American heritage.

Brian became interested in music at an early age and began taking guitar lessons at the age of twelve. His passion for writing music began shortly after he lost his grandmother Concettina whom he was very close to. After she passed away, he expressed his loss by writing the ballad, "I Miss You" for her.

As he entered high school, Brian became very interested in learning more about his Italian heritage as well as the Italian language, music and culture. He soon began to incorporate this into his own music as his love for the Italian language and music flourished.

Brian's love for performing and writing was encouraged further when in both 2006 and 2007 he was offered the opportunity of performing a private show for a group of terminally ill children visiting from Italy. In the crowd he saw smiles and tears on the faces of the children and they even began singing along. These performances really touched Brian and made him aware of the wonderful impact his music could have. It gave him even more motivation to create and perform.

Brian has just finished recording his EP/Demo, which features his Italian and English language music with songs such as "Perfect," "L'Amore Del Mio Sogno," "Ho Finito Con Te," and "Ti Amo," plus one bonus track written after the earthquake in Abruzzo, Italy that left thousands without homes.

Brian's style has been described as acoustic soul or soft rock/pop.  He continues to evolve stylistically and grow as an artist.  Keep watching and listening!
